Men's & Women's Championship draw

21st May 2001 (Championships)

This is a high entry for the Men's & Women's Championship, because of the World Championship taking place at Hurlingham later this year.

Cheltenham are two lawns down on their regular number because works to level lawns 9, 10 & George's to create 3 full sized courts has been stalled by the almost constant rain. To compensate, the manager (David Magee) has indicated that double banking will be used for the Championship and the plate might be delayed at the early stages, although by the end of the first day he expects plenty of availability.
