Chris Patmore won unbeaten on 6/6; after a +1 against Burridge game 1 (which proved to be the decider) Chris managed to get plenty of lawn time to warm himself up before meeting any of the big guns. (This perhaps helped avoid meeting Fulford or Beijderwellen in the tournament but on the weekend's form it was they who were lucky not him). However this still left him the not exactly easy run of Avery, Aiton, Tudor and Maugham all of whom were despatched.
