Qualification

This is a summary of the 2011 Qualification Criteria. Full details can be found in the fixtures book.

Members must declare their availability for the final by either emailing the CA Office, returning the form in the Fixture Book or completing the online form on the CA Website. Cheques should be made payable to The Croquet Association and sent to the CA Office ONLY when your place in the final is confirmed.
Sixteen players in total will earn qualification through to the Final. Players will qualify for the Final by either having been a finalist in the National Championship or winning a nominated event. If a tournament is not completed and there is not a definite qualifier for the final, the tournament manager may hold a shoot-out of some sort or lots may be drawn, AMD.
Any places not earned or accepted will then be allocated automatically by a process based on points earned in the nominated tournaments from finishing second (6 points), third (4 points) or fourth (2 points), with 50% extra for the Open Championship. The list of players obtaining places, together with reserves, will published on this page by 02 September 2011.
