Golf Croquet World Championship Selections

The Golf Croquet World Championship takes place in March 2008 in South Africa.

Selection for this event have now been completed and the following list has been forwarded to the WCF.

The following are nominated to take England's six places of right:

  • Ivor Brand, Chris Clarke, Marcus Evans, Tim King, Ian Lines, and David Openshaw.

Stephen Mulliner has confirmed he will be taking his place as a semi-finalist in the last (2006) championship.

The Selectors have compiled the following list of players who have declared availability for the event and ask that they be considered for wild cards in the order listed:

  • Mark Hamilton, John Spiers, David Hopkins, David Dray, Dick Strover, Richard Thompson, Don Beck, Chris Sheen, Tom Weston, Bill Arliss, Ray Mounfield, Chris Daniels, Julie Hudson.
