GC Coaching Pods launched

[<<] [>>] by Lionel Tibble [^] -> bottom
16th May (CA Official News)

Each pod provides a focus for A- and B-Class players to get together and improve their game in a relaxed local environment. We hope these groups will facilitate the sharing of knowledge, help establish informal mentoring arrangements and generally raise the standard of play across the country encouraging aspiring players to participate in the Croquet Association A and B level national tournaments as advertised in the fixtures book.
The pods will also give rapidly improving players the opportunity to further improve their skills as well as providing for those players with more modest aims.

Rapid improvers with commitment can be readily recognised as such and attract the attention of the GC selectors for possible inclusion in subsequent International Performance Squad selections.
At present there are 14 clubs around the Federations and the list is growing. Additional pod clubs would be especially welcomed to serve the North West, West Midlands and Yorkshire Federation regions so if you would like to set up a pod in these or any other regions please get in touch.

Anyone wishing to take advantage of the scheme and join a pod course can choose a convenient pod club from the list in the member's area of the CA website.

Once you have registered you can then contact the relevant coach or coordinator for more information.

Don't delay - register today!
