Eight English Players Qualified for the Knockout

English players make up a quarter of the 32-player knock-out after qualifying from the block stages in the AC World Championship being played at Wellington, New Zealand. They are

  • Christian Carter
  • James Death
  • Jonathan Powe
  • Pete Trimmer
  • David Maugham
  • John-Paul Moberley
  • Stephen Mulliner
  • Samir Patel

John-Paul and Stephen play each other, so we are guaranteed at least one in the last 16!
