Sidmouth's GC B-Level and Sister Weekend

Sidmouth Croquet Club hosted two highly successful tournaments over the weekend of 8-9 August, highlighting the strong demand and popularity of GC tournaments across the South West.

The inaugural Sidmouth SiSTER tournament on Saturday gave 12 players who had missed out on a place in the main B Level event the opportunity to compete. Richard Stokoe (Budleigh) took the title after a closely fought final against Andy Middleton (Bude), securing his first GC tournament victory.

On Sunday, 16 players contested the GC B Level (DG <1700) Series tournament on Sidmouth's wonderfully green courts. Peter Adams (Guildford) emerged victorious, defeating Stephen Webb (Watford) in the final, while Martin C. Leach (Budleigh) took the Plate.
