Croquet Ranking and Grading SystemsThe Association Croquet Ranking System is used to restrict entries for the Open Championship, the Men's Championship, the Women's Championship and certain other CA calendar events if they are over-subscribed. Chris Williams is the CA Ranking Officer, operating the AC system under the supervision of the World Croquet Federation. Grades are calculated using the Dynamic Grading System adopted by the World Croquet Federation with results from official Advanced Play singles events at home and abroad.
The Golf Croquet Grading System is used to restrict entries for the Open Championship and certain other CA calendar events if they are over-subscribed. It is operated by Stephen Mulliner as the CA's GC Grading Officer. Grades are calculated using results from official level singles events at home and abroad.
For the GC Grading System, weights are assigned to tournaments to reflect their varying significance as set out below.
Class 1: World Championship, Open Championship and other equivalent events.
Class 2: All other events, but excluding consolation events.
Class 3: B-Class events and consolation events.
The grades used to restrict entries to tournaments are those current at the Allocation Dates.
