All events at this club
  1. Ten-minute walk from York Station with frequent rail links to all parts of the country. Close to Park & Ride Stop.
  2. Three excellent full lawns, plus two short lawns.
  3. Morning coffee and afternoon tea will be available each day. Please bring packed lunch. Alternatively there are two good corner shops and several takeaways within five minutes' walk.

All Clubs benefit from having a knowledgeable handicapper in their ranks. This one-day workshop for existing and new Club handicappers covers the principles and practice of handicapping - how the automatic handicapping system works, how to set initial handicaps, when and how to adjust individual handicaps, how to maintain accurate handicap cards, how to deal with players who rarely play competitive games, handicaps in doubles matches, and methods of calculating bisque difference and bases.
