Special Conditions:
For this tournament
  1. Play will start with the Doubles Championship at 1pm on 29 June. Play is expected to start at 10am on subsequent days, but this may be changed if conditions dictate.
  2. Play may continue until dusk each day.
  3. Regulation P4D1 (attire) will apply. An exception will be made during rain.
  4. Cheques to be made payable to The Croquet Association. Please note: all cheques will be presented for payment on receipt at the CA Office. Encashment of cheques does not mean that a player has been accepted for a tournament. Should a player not be accepted, then a full refund will be given, as stated in the Tournament Regulations.
  5. Lateness :Regulation M2d applies, with the following interpretation for M2d4.

Format: Qualifiers will progress to best-of-3 knockout, which may be extended to best-of-5 in later stages, AMD. See Event Conditions

For this event
  1. Open to any competitor, however entries may need to be limited: any cut-off will be by Official Ranking List grade at the allocation date.
  2. The main event will be played as Super-Advanced throughout (both in the Qualifying Swiss and in the Knockout) per the CA Regulation for Class 1 Championships.
  3. Time limits: 3.5 hours for swiss games; 4, 7, 9 hours for knockout.
  4. Players will progress from the Qualifying Swiss for Event 1 as follows:
    1. The first six rounds will be pre-drawn.
    2. Players winning a threshold number of games (expected to be 5 in normal conditions) will progress to the knockout and will not play any further Swiss games.
    3. From round 6 onwards, Players no longer able to achieve the threshold number of wins will be removed from the Swiss.
    4. The Swiss will continue for a pre-determined number of rounds (approximately twice the threshold number of wins, expected to be 9 or 10 in normal conditions).
  5. The knockout will have eight seeds, chosen by committee.
