  1. High Wycombe has lawns within Hazlemere Recreation Ground, with ample free parking.
  2. Tea and coffee are available in the clubhouse. For lunch, there is a local bakery for sandwiches within a 5 min. walk, or bring your own packed lunch.
  3. CA courses and tournaments are managed via the CA website. For those without internet access, please approach the Course/Tournament Secretary direct.
  4. Payment:
    1. Strongly preferred payment method is online through the CA website.
    2. Alternatively, bank transfer to High Wycombe Croquet Club, a/c 15845834, sort code 60-11-01 using as a reference: "<surname> <course code>" (see individual course to ascertain code for that course e.g. "Smith GC0PLUS").
    3. As a last resort, cheques should be payable to "High Wycombe Croquet Club", using same reference details as above.
  5. Reservations for courses are based on the time that the booking is confirmed by payment, noting that priority is given to CA Premium members up to the published Allocation Date.
  6. A reserve list will be maintained for those who wish to be included.
  7. Courses will be run with an appropriate mix of time on the lawns for the practical aspects, and sessions in the clubhouse to consider the more theoretical aspects of the game.

Special Conditions:
For this course
  1. This is a two-day course, starting prompt at 0930 hrs, led by Cliff Jones, for GC players who wish to improve their understanding of the rules to refereeing standard and to qualify as a referee.
  2. Coaching on the rules will be conducted on Saturday 23 Mar 2019. On Sunday 24 Mar 19 attendees will be prepared for the 1 hour multi-choice examination, which will be held that afternoon (NB. Cost of examination is not included in course fees).
  3. There is the option to attend only on Sat 23 Mar 2019 to gain the knowledge, without staying to take the examination; however priority will be given to those who wish to take the examination.
  4. The course is intense and reasonable prior knowledge of the new (Edition 5) GC rules (on which the course will be based) is needed, as well as experience at playing the game.
  5. Attendees must be CA members to hold the referee qualification.
  6. The course content is designed to qualify players as GC Referees. While much of the material is theory, if the weather allows there will be an opportunity to spend time on the lawns too.
  7. There are tea/coffee making facilities in the clubhouse. For lunch there is a local bakery for sandwiches within 5 min walk, or bring own packed lunch.
  8. Dress code: Whites not necessary, dress for warmth.
