Golf Croquet Refereeing course

[<<] [>>] by Elizabeth Williams
25th February 2005 (GC)

The first course covering the Second Edition Laws of Golf Croquet will be held in the Southwick Club House on Tuesday 5th April 2005 starting at 10.00 am. The course is intended to bring existing referees up to speed on the changes in the Laws and be the final training session for those wishing to qualify as CA Golf Croquet Referees. In particular we hope to cater for those players who trained for refereeing in the GC World Championship in 2004 but were unable to obtain the formal qualification because of time constraints.

The proposed programme will be:

10.00 - 1.00 Complete review of all the laws and refereeing techniques.
1.00 - 2.00 Lunch
2.00 onwards Examinations for those wishing to qualify.

We regret that we are unable to provide lunches at this time in the season and ask you all to bring a packed lunch. Hot drinks and bar service will be available.

For places on the course please contact Bill Arliss on 01273 728204 We welcome players who just want to update their knowledge of the Laws but if the numbers are too large, priority will be given to existing referees and those wishing to qualify.

Bill Arliss
Chairman, Golf Croquet Laws Committee
