The following players have been selected to represent Great Britain in the upcoming Solomon Trophy against the USA, to be held at the Mission Hills Country Club, Palm Springs, California, 24 - 27 March, 2005:

Matt Burrow
James Death
Robert Fulford (Captain)
John Gibbons
Ian Lines
David Openshaw

Very much with one eye on the 2006 MacRobertson Shield, this strong team represents a fine balance between the tried and trusted and the up and coming talent. Between them, Fulford & Openshaw have 17 appearances in this event and its predecessor matches. By contrast, James and Ian will be gaining their first GB caps. For Ian, this is well deserved reward for significant improvement over the last couple of seasons.
