Inter-Club
Ten clubs have entered this year, with two First Round ties. Holders Bristol play Bowdon, the winners to meet Colchester, Hurlingham play Sussex County, the winners to play Wrest Park. The other Quarter-Finals are between Nottingham and Cheltenham, and Surbiton and East Dorset. Closing dates for the rounds have been adjusted to take account of the WCF World Championships.
Mary Rose
Twenty clubs have entered this year, so the draw is again in two sections. Holders Wrest Park meet Southport in the Second Round. Four First Round ties are between Colchester and Bowdon (winners play Hurlingham), Newport and Pendle (winners play Nottingham), Dyffryn and Woking (winners play Roehampton), and Cheltenham and Medway (winners play Bristol). Remaining Second Round ties are Parsons Green v Norwich, Blewbury v Sussex County, and Surbiton v Parkstone.
Secretary's Shield
Holders Middlesbrough join the nine qualifiers from the Federations to compete for the Shield. In the First Round, Middlesbrough play Bury (winners play York) and Purley Bury play Kenilworth (winners play Woodhall Spa). Tyneside play Wrest Park and Swindon play Reading in the other ties.
Longman Cup
Entries have been put into four sections to keep the draw reasonably regional, with one or two clubs in different areas from last year. The sequence of sections in the draw was itself drawn, with South-West and Wales, North and Midlands, East and London, South and South-East being the result. Of the 41 entries, holders Blewbury play Harwell, and runners-up Surbiton play Sussex County, each after a bye. Last year's semi-finalists Colchester play Merton, and Nottingham play Tyneside, both in the First Round.
The full draws, with dates for completing each round, and the usual letter giving details, have been circulated to club contacts, and are available on this Website under Tournaments.
