Reg Bamford beat Robin Brown in an interesting best-of-three final:

Game 1

Bamford wins toss and goes in.
1.Super shot ball
2.Brown to max distance on East boundary
3.Bamford shoots at E-boundary ball from A-baulk and misses
4.Brown hits resulting double (roqueting ball to near North boundary) but under-hits a split and misses the 4-yarder on the supershot ball into Corner 1.
5.Bamford shoots with mid-court ball at ball near 2 and misses
6.Brown shoots from Corner 1 to ball near Corner 4 and hits. Goes to 4-b with NSL
7.Bamford misses short lift with H4 ball
8. Brown finishes with TP

Game 2

1.Brown plays supershot ball
2.Bamford goes to E-boundary a little north of H4
3.Brown shoots at this ball and misses
4.Bamford shoots at supershot ball and misses
5.Brown goes to 4-b with NSL
7.Bamford misses short lift with H4 ball
8.Brown looks to have TP under control but Penult peel before 4-b fails to go through followed by an over-cut rush to 4-b followed by under-hit approach leads to failing 4-b.
9.Bamford to 1-b with standard SXP leave
10.Brown shoots with penult ball (Dead straight shot hills off at last second) ....He would say that wouldn't he:-)
11.Bamford finishes with SXP
