European Golf Croquet Championship announced

The European Croquet Federation will hold a European Golf Croquet Championship at Ripon Spa Hotel on 5-7 September 2005. England will have four places plus a personal invitation to Chris Sheen, who was a semi-finalist in the 2003 Championship.

The FEC requires nominations by 15 July, so a Selectors' meeting will be held during the GC Opens next week at Southwick.

Will all players who are qualified to play for England and have a grade in excess of 110 please let me know their availability for those dates by Thursday 23 June. Notification of non-availability would also be helpful to the Selection Committee.
