CA Appoints Liz Budworth as Office Assistant

I am pleased to report that Liz Budworth will be joining the CA office as my Assistant on the 1st August. Liz joins the CA from the International Badminton Federation. Liz has kindly agreed to work on Saturday mornings until she joins us in August.

The lack of an Assistant since April; and recent installation of IT (not quite yet complete) has caused some slowness in my response to your many and varied requests but, hopefully, normal service will soon be resumed.

When the CA office is fully staffed the opening hours are 9.00a.m. to 4.00 p.m. from Monday to Thursday and 9.00 to 1.00 on Friday. In addition to the above, I try to open the office at other times for a few hours, especially when a significant competition is happening at Cheltenham. Do please call in, say hello and sign our visitors book.

I will be taking some leave shortly and will be away from the office from the 11th to the 15th of July (inclusive) but you will be able to catch up with me either at the Opens at Hurlingham on Sunday the 10th July or at Pendle and Craven on the afternoon of the 12th July (when I will be attending the official opening of the new croquet club).

The new IT, when fully installed, will mean that I can monitor messages etc. from afar (but don't tell Pat!) and get back to you on any urgent matters. Meanwhile, if you need to contact me outside office hours please email or leave a message on the answer phone.
