Ballot for Inter-Counties 2006 places

As there were 23 entries for the 2006 event, a ballot was held (in accordance with clause 2(f) of the conditions for this tournament) at the Tournament Committee meeting on Sat 19 Nov between the new entries (Channel Islands and Northumberland) and bottom of the second division in 2005, Hampshire. Hampshire were placed bottom for the purposes of this ballot under condition 1(g) as they had to use non-qualified players to complete their team in 2005.

Channel Islands and Northumberland were successful in the ballot. There are now 22 entries, so there will not be a CA Select team in 2006
