David Maugham won the Roehampton Gold Cup

Pre-tournament favourite David Maugham won the Roehampton Gold Cup, beating second-seed Rutger Beijderwellen -18qp -25qp +26tp +26tp +3tp in the final.

Jerry Guest, recent winner of the A-class at Hurlingham, had a good weekend beating first Mark Avery (2-1) and then having a chance to win 2-0 against Rutger before failing 4-back and not taking croquet in the remainder of the match.
