The Annual Roehampton Invitation event was held over the week end. As usual the standard of play was high with all players ranked in the UK top 20.
The event is played as a two life best of three with players who win in both lives going through to the semi-finals.
David Maugham won the event with some consistent long hitting. He beat Ed Duckworth in the final. Notable particularly in that Ed twice hit the sextuple leave.
During the event David Maugham completed three sextuples and Keith Aiton one.
