Each course will comprise a morning lecture on the laws, refereeing policy and practices to be adopted with practical demonstration of faults on the lawn. The afternoon session will include a written test on the laws and a practical test on fault recognition.

Player who are already association referees or assistant referees are not required to take the practical tests and will be asked to assist in the practical tests.

Any spare places may be taken by players who do not wish to become referees but priority will be given to those taking the examination.
