Correction on Golf Croquet Opens

The report posted on the CA web site is inaccurate - this is what happened:

Reg Bamford beat Tim King in the quarters.

Stephen Mulliner was dispatched in the same half of the draw by Marcus Evans.

Reg then beat Marcus in a close fought match.

In the other half of the draw David Hopkins, after a 2 3/4 hour match beat Nelson Morrow after Nelson had a change of winning the 2nd games with a long jump shot at 13. Hoppy then won the third game 7-5.

Hoppy went on to play the semi against John Spiers and the final against Reg.
