Harrow Oak becomes the latest victim of fire

[<<] [>>] by Richard Hilditch
30th May 2001 (Other News)

I have to report that the croquet hut at the Harrow Oak club in north west London was totally destroyed by fire on the night of 26th May. Only the hoops have been salvaged from the rubble. There is no evidence that the destruction was related to the rioting that erupted in Manchester (200 miles away) on the same night.
