New edition of Know the Game Croquet is on its way

Advance notice for clubs, beginners and improvers that a completely new edition of this longtime favourite book is due to be published on 17 September this year.

Dr G L Ormerod wrote the first edition nearly 50 years ago. Since then John McCullough, Bill Lamb and now Ian Vincent have revised the content to reflect changes in croquet and coaching practice. The latest edition has a new design and structure: an introduction and the basics that apply to both Golf and Association are followed by sections on both variations of the game covering strokes, tactics and laws.

The new edition is very fully illustrated with many new photographs of contemporary players. It will be available from the CA Shop as well as bookshops and A&C Black's price is £6.99.
