The Croquet Association regard the high speed filming of strokes that was undertaken at the Bowdon Club in the autumn of 2006 as a valuable contribution to the understanding of the game and is keen to make the results widely available. It therefore, as the copyright holder, grants permission for the material to be copied, reformatted and published non-commercially for individual use, or included in training materials published by other governing bodies, provided that the Croquet Association's copyright is acknowledged.
This statement is issued on behalf of the CA's Executive Committee with the agreement of those who took part in the filming. On behalf of the Association it thanks them and the Bowdon Club for producing the
material. For the avoidance of doubt, the statement applies only the raw material produced during the filming, not to the Referees' Training Video subsequently produced by Bill Arliss.
A DVD containing the material can be ordered from the CA Shop at a cost of £10, but I understand that there are plans to make it available on a website: watch this space.
