Rutger Beijderwellen won the Ramsgate Weekend

[<<] [>>] by Mark Hamilton at Ramsgate Croquet Club
12th May 2008 (AC)

Rutger Beijderwellen won the Ramsgate Advanced Weekend, completing two sextuples en route - much to the delight of the local members who came to watch.

At the start, three people had to pull out due to injury so with eight players Dennis Shaw decided on an all-play-all format. At the end of the first day Rutger and Paul Miles tied on four wins each.
The lawns were looking very good and playing well, at around 10 seconds.

A special mention must go to the members of Ramsgate Croquet Club for looking after the players so well with teas, coffees and wonderful lunches. Thanks should also go to Dennis Shaw for managing the tournament.
