In an all-Jersey final, Tony Le Moignan beat Gavin Carter to win the Spring Bank Holiday Weekend at the Sussex CCC at Southwick.

SCCC players Jon Isaacs, David Gillett and John Low reached the quarter-finals with only John progressing to the semi-final where he lost to Gavin Carter -17,

1. 18, +7.

In the other semi-final, reigning champion Tony le Moignan beat Roger Wood +26TP, +12.
In the final, Tony beat Gavin +18, +26TP (5th turn) to retain the trophy.

The Consolation Egyptian saw success for SCCC players:
1. Jon Isaacs
2. John Gosney
3. David Gillett

Peter Thompson achieved his gold award, and Chris Sturdy his silver award.
