David Foulser won the Cheltenham Advanced Tournament

The main event was a knockout in which the manager, David Foulser, beat Ian Parkinson in the final using a mallet purchased from Bernard Neal only two days before the tournament. Ian earned his CA Silver Medal by reaching the final of an open event with an entry of at least sixteen players for the first time.

This tournament was played in wet and generally unpleasant conditions although the lawns were faster than one would have anticipated.
