David Foulser won the Cheltenham Advanced

The Cheltenham Advanced Tournament was played as best-of-three and was won by Dave Foulser whose shooting & break building were both impressive. Peter Francis, Lee Hartley and, in the final, Dave Mundy were all despatched in straight games but in round two, Jim Field did take a close middle game.

Lee Hartley from Fylde who has only been playing for three years & has already reached -0.5, had an excellent tournament winning all his games in both the main event and the Egyptian consolation event apart from his straight games defeat by Foulser.
