Dave Maugham beat Chris Clarke 3-1 in the Northern Championship final, 26TP -26TP 25TP 20TP

The preceding Northern week was a bit of a Beast benefit too:

Giant Jenga: unfinished, but no injuries resulted (and Maugham got knocked out in the first round)

Jerry Guest beat Phil Cordingley +4
Phil failed a TP, then Jerry declined to peg out after making rover with last ball and Phil hit and made rover with forward ball, then Jerry finished.

some wit had suggested a best-of-3 plate final, but an epic Guest v Panther semi meant the plate final started about 2 hours after the main event finished!

Patrick Hort did the only sextuple of the tournament - on lawn 1.
