Lionel Tibble reclaimed the Medway Midweek Advanced on 21-23 August, beating the holder Dave Mundy in two straight games in the final.

Mark Ormerod and Paul Castell finished 1-1 in the third-place play-off, Mark claiming bragging rights having earlier won their plate game while they were awaiting opponents in the KO.

Paul Miles won the Plate, once the semi-finalists had been discounted, with 3/4 wins (75%) ahead of Jon Diamond with 4/6 and an excellent performance from local 6-handicapper John Bateson, initially just filling in for absences, who ended on 3/5.
