On a fine day at Hamptworth the teams played an extremely close match. The morning session saw the doubles match twice going to the 13th hoop, the decider having to wait until after the break. After lunch the singles finished 3-3 and the deciding double was played. After what was a nervously watched long game the match was finally decided on the 13th hoop. Many thanks to the visitors Phyllis Court for a friendly close fought game.
