6th October 2022
(World Championship)
Availability is now open for the 2023 AC World Championship.
The lead club will be the Hurlingham Club, which will be the venue for the finals, but significant parts of the championship may also be held at Dulwich Croquet Club, Ealing Croquet Club, Roehampton Club, Surbiton Croquet Club, and Woking Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club. The event will be held from the 15th - 23rd July 2023.
The event capacity is 80 players.
The anticipated entry fee for this event is £153 per player. This rate is subject to ratification by the WCF Council when the 2023 Budget is approved later this year.
Full details of the above event have already been published on the WCF website and a dedicated Event website will be published soon.

If you wish to be eligible for a ranking place, wildcard place, or membership place, please register your availability at:

The CA's own deadline for availability in any of the three categories is 1st December. The AC Selection Committee (ACSC) will then submit the names of all available England players to the WCF, together with the names of any players they wish to be considered for a wildcard place. The WCF will announce on the 1st January which players have been granted ranking places, based on their 12 month maximum DG on the 18th December. The ACSC will then nominate membership places from amongst those players who have not secured a ranking or wildcard place.
As the host nation, England have six extra membership places, giving a total of eight, so there is a good opportunity for England players who might not normally secure a place to do so. There will also be a qualifying event for at least four more places to be held at Sussex County Croquet Club on 10th - 13th July (open to players of any nationality). Entry for this event will open next year.
Please do not use the above availability process if you are NOT an England qualified player. Please contact your own national governing body.
Any queries, please let me know.
Kind regards,
Sam Murray
