Oxfordshire vs. Croquet England Women

Oxfordshire won the annual AC match between a select team of Croquet England women and last year's winners of the second division of the Inter-Counties Championship by the closest of margins.

Cheltenham Croquet Club were superb hosts, providing well-set hoops, top-class catering, and good weather to boot. A tournament dinner at a local Thai restaurant provided a good opportunity to get to know each other better. Overall, the event was again a great success, providing an opportunity for Oxfordshire to have a warm up before re-entering Division 1 in the Counties, and providing the opportunity for female players to develop by playing in a team and learning from more experienced players. To all the women out there: look out for the availability invitation next year, and come and join in.
