Croquet England May 2026 Newsletter

31st May (CqE Official News)
The Croquet England monthly newsletter has been published today, sharing the latest news from our croquet community and a welcome by Andy Dalby-Welsh, Croquet England CEO:
"I hope you have all enjoyed a fun and positive start to the season, with plenty of opportunities to get out on the lawn, play, compete and connect with others across the croquet community.
It has also been an exciting period for Croquet England as we conclude strategic priority planning. We now have moved into implementation whilst finalising our vision, mission and values. This work will help shape our progress for the future, and we look forward to sharing more with you through the Gazette and on the website as we enter June.
If you would like to play your part in us achieving growth in our sport, please do get in touch. One of the important tasks identified through our review is to work with the Coaching Committee to look at our coach education, coaching offer and the overall coaching journey. We will be reaching out to invite your feedback and input, so please look out for further information on how you can get involved.
The Coaching Committee has also been reviewing our coaching qualifications and will be relaxing the guidance related to club level coaches coaching only within their own club. We hope this will support coaching to reach more people, to play more Croquet in more places for fun, friendship and competition.
Thank you for your continued support, and we look forward to working together over the months ahead."
