11th July (The MacRobertson Shield)

The MacRobertson Shield is the pinnacle of Association Croquet - a
four-nation Test Match between England, New Zealand, Australia and the
USA. It takes place every four years in each of the countries and is
in England this summer.

Each Test is the first nation to win 11 matches, comprising both
doubles and singles. Every round promises world-class croquet, but the
standout fixture could well be the final Test, most likely between
England and New Zealand.

All venues provide lunches. Roehampton and Hurlingham are large
members' clubs with several restaurants and bars, while Surbiton is a
traditional croquet club that serves what many consider to be the
finest lunches on the croquet circuit - not to be missed! They also
have famously challenging lawns, assuming the weather behaves.
