Light rain overnight did not slow the lawns down too much which is a testament to the fantastic efforts of the ground staff. Jamie and Mark won a close game 1 plus one with Mark hitting the peg from the middle of the south boundary with wild applause. They went on to win game 2 more comfortably plus 26.

Rob and Jack played well with Rob completing 2 TPs, the second after an extended delay to replace all the balls after the blue suffered a chip at the hands of a fence post.

James and Samir's match went to 3 games with James nearly completing a combination peg out at the end of a QP.

England now just need one more match to secure the test.
