MacRobertson Shield Day 7 - Round 2 Begins

Battle commenced at Sussex County Croquet Club today for the second instalment of tests at the MacRobertson Shield.

Lawn 1 (livestream lawn) saw Jamie and Mark play Zac Waston and Tom Balding. Lawn 2 (occasionally a livestream lawn) saw James and Samir play Kyle Maloof and Stephen Morgan. And lawn 3 (Shoreham airport lawn - not as noticeable as LHR) saw Jack and Robert play Ben Rothman and Matthew Essick.

The conditions induced errors for many of the players which was a grave difference from last test.

Lawn 3 were first to finish, losing in straight games to Essick TPs. Jamie and Mark won the first but lost the second. At a similar time, James and Samir were involved in another one of their beloved 3-ball endings in game 1 after a TPO that James made look trivial.

Afternoon saw England clinch both matches to comeback (0-1 to 2-1), where Mark pegged out in a interactive game and Samir watched James finish off what ended up being a 2-ball ending!

Skip was so happy with his break today, he kindly cooked tea (lemon chicken orzo).
