The GC First and Second Eights were held at Budleigh over the Bank Holiday weekend, with the Third Eights taking place at Sidmouth.

Congratulations to Aston Wade, who took the First Eights title, with Stu Smith finishing runner-up after an excellent performance topping the block stages. The newly introduced First Eights Bowl was won by Tournament Manager, Richard Bilton.

Congratulations also to Tim Jolliff, who won the Second Eights after a closely fought block-stage battle with Louise Smith for qualification into the knockout. Louise went on to win the Second Eights Bowl, while Martin French won the Third Eights at Sidmouth. Having narrowly missed a place in the main KO, it was also fitting that Rick Lilley won the Third Eights Bowl.

Many thanks to all the volunteers, ground staff and spectators at both clubs who helped make the weekend a success, despite some challenging weather.
