New Executive Team Announced as Committee Recruitment Begins

We are excited to announce our new Executive team, which completes the first stage of our restructure, appointing four experienced leaders to help deliver our revised strategic priorities:

• Ian Draper- Head of Growth and Grass Roots
• Ian Burridge- Head of Play
• Richard Waterman- Head of Performance
• Paul Hetherington- Head of Marketing

Once the team is in place, we will be confirming the appointment of a Secretary to the Executive.

Throughout September, the new Heads will recruit the committees that report to them, ahead of the AGM on 10 October. This next phase of the restructure will create opportunities for volunteers to put themselves forward either to chair a committee or to serve as a committee member.

We greatly appreciate the many people who have contributed, and continue to contribute, so significantly and successfully within our existing structure. We encourage both new and existing volunteers to support the new structure and the ambitions of our 'More Croquet' strategy and 'One Croquet' philosophy.

We ask everyone considering a role to demonstrate alignment with our values: Fun, Passionate, Collaborative, Accessible and Progressive.

We would like the appointments to our committees and working groups to be open and accessible. Therefore, we are asking that potential Chairs, Deputy Chairs and committee members share an expression of interest by the 23^rd September. We would like to take this opportunity to thank those who will be stepping down from our existing Executive Committee and committee chair roles at the AGM. We are grateful for the dedication and support from those who have fulfilled roles on our committees, and hope many will put themselves forward for roles in our new structure. For those who have not worked within our committee structure before, please see this as an opportunity to share your interest in a role within Croquet England, where your passion and skills will help shape the development of our sport.

Connected to our development we also have other areas of focus where we would value expertise and support, such as, marketing and communications, live-streaming, wellbeing, youth development and targeting Generation X. We would welcome your interest in any of these specific areas, or suggestions of other development areas your expertise would support.
