The Western Championship

[<<] [>>] by Strat Liddiard
25th March 2006 (AC - Championships)

Last autumn work was undertaken to put drainage channels under Lawns 3 & 4 at East Dorset Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club (Parkstone). This work was delayed by unexpectedly heavy clay resulting in the machine breaking down twice. The cold spring weather has added to the problems and it is extremely unlikely that these lawns will be available for the Western Championships.

Dave Maugham (manager) adds: The entry will be limited to 16 (instead of 24) The format will remain the same (bo3 ko + swiz). No other venues will be used.
