The lightning fast sloping lawns of Northampton combined with 30 degree heat to make this match a contest of patience and endurance. All players found the conditions very difficult, as a result breaks of 6+ hoops were almost unheard of and only one match was finished before time. Many thanks to Northampton for providing us with a unique challenge.
