Mark McInerney won the Championship of Ireland defeating Robert Fulford in a tight final -10, +2, +4tp. Theme for the match was Robert failing to finish from having a fairly routine looking straight rover peel which he somehow managed to do 4 times in only 3 games.
The losing semi finalists were Paul Bennet of the US and Gerard Healy. Paul played very well demonstrating excellent shooting and good temperament to get past Chris Patmore and Ed Cunningham. Gerard had a good win over Ronan McInerney in the quarters with a triple in the decider.
