Aaron Westerby, Keith Aiton and Mark Avery are the only three players who have so far won all four of their singles matches. Keith and Mark have both only dropped one game, whilst all of Aaron's wins have been 2-1
Robert Fulford and Chris Clarke are the only pair who have won all six doubles matches. Bruce Fleming/Martin Clarke and David Maugham/Mark Avery have only dropped one doubles match.
Fulford and Clarke have now won 34 out of the 39 matches they have played together in the Mac. One of those defeats was to Fleming and Clarke in 2003 (-13otp(Fu), -17tp(Fl))
Jerry Stark, Brian Wislang and Bob Cherry have yet to win a singles match, whilst Danny Huneycutt and Bob Cherry are the only pair yet to win a doubles match. Interestingly every other pair have won at least twice.
Bruce Fleming needs one match win to become the Australian who has won the most matches in the Mac. He is currently level on 24 with JC Windsor. Jerry Stark has the most American wins with 27. Robert Fulford is the overall leader with 66 wins from 76 matches. David Maugham and Chris Clarke both achieved their fiftieth wins in the last test and now both stand on 51.
GB have beaten Australia convincingly in all four of their 21 match meetings. 18-3 in 1990, 15-6 in 1996 and 2003 and 20-1 in 2000. Australia have only beaten GB twice since WW2. (5-4 in the second test in 1982 and 5-4 in the final test in 1986)
The three 21 match tests between New Zealand and the USA have been fairly close. USA won 12-9 in 2003, whilst NZ won 12-9 in 1996 and 13-8 in 2000.
