Jenny Williams - the final day

[<<] [>>] by Jenny Williams
4th December 2006 (The MacRobertson Shield)

The 4th place teams' performance is generally the national anthem, though this time around the kiwis chose "God Save the Queen", ably assisted by David Openshaw. Alas their performance was somewhat under par compared with 2003, rating a lowly 5/10 (compared with 9/10 for their 2003 performance of God Defend New Zealand).

Congrats to the Brits on an awesome performance.

Winner of the MacRobertson Shield predictions competition: Chris Williams. (second place to Brian Cumming, third Ian Lines). Congrats chaps. A bottle or two of some kiwi white will be on its way to Wales soon, and a pint for the place-getters when we're next in a tournament together.
