The Hurlingham Club dress code for the World Championship is revealed

[<<] [>>] by Nigel Graves
26th April 2001 (World Championship)

I have just met with officials of the Hurlingham Club to clarify (among other things) the dress code for playing on the front lawns. Clothing should be 90 per cent white, shoes should be predominantly white in colour, but so long as the soles are flat they do not mind what colour they are.

CA members will be admitted free to Hurlingham, others pay UKL8 per day. Players will be entitled to bring one guest per day free of charge, and will be given passes valid for the duration of the tournament.

I will enquire whether there are any dining dress requirements. I think that 'smart casual' will probably be sufficient.
