Robert Fulford won the New Zealand Open Championship

Robert Fulford gained the second NZ Open Singles title of his career by defeating Chris Clarke his team-mate and doubles partner by the maximum margin in two quick and clinical games. Stephen Mulliner and David Openshaw made it a clean sweep for the tourists by taking the NZ Doubles Championship with a straight-games victory over the New Zealanders Bruce and Richard Baker.
