A strong field of croquet players will be taking part in the annual Association Croquet test series between Great Britain and Ireland at the Meadows Club, Edinburgh, on 30 and 31 August. Nine of the 12 players are currently in the world's top 100 [as at 19 August].

Sponsored by the Clydesdale Bank, this test is widely expected to be the best croquet ever seen in Scotland.

Spectators will be very welcome.
