Antipodeans Qualify for World Championships

All three places available for qualifiers have now been decided. The event was played as a Swiss with players dropping out if they lost two games.

Liz Fleming (Australia) playing very impressively has won four out of four and therefore qualifies. Players on three out of four are Magd El Sageny (Egypt), Ian Basset (Australia), Sue Hoddy (NZ), and Colin Southern (England). Ian beat Colin to claim a place in the main event and Sue beat Magd for the final place.
