The top two in each block contested the knockout with second placed pairs David Hopkins and Carol Jackson losing to Reg and Stephen whilst John and Nick despatched Roy Ware and James Goodbun in single nineteen point games.
The final was played as a best of three thirteen point games. In was honours even in the first two games, both with 7-6 scorelines but in the final game Reg and Stephen gained an early lead and completed their victory on the ninth hoop. Reg, a man never to do things by half, also ran hoop ten with the final stroke of the game.
